The SPEEDFEEDER is a pneumatic operated spring
separator designed to work automatically in a
production line or serving a manual assembly
station.
Together with an escapement the springs can be
delivered to the assembly point on demand at a
given signal through a tube.
The SPEEDFEEDER is delivered with a PLC control
that allows multiple escapements, queuing
sensors and other delivery options to be used.
The escapement is available as an accessory for
feeding springs one at a time on demand.
The SPEEDFEEDER can be equipped with 1-4
outlets. The output depends on the shape and
dimension of the springs. For many types of
springs very high capacities are possible. The
SPEEDFEEDER can also be used to serve a manual
assembly station.
The Tekda SPEEDFEEDER is suitable for
applications involving cylindrical compression
springs with closed end coils.
An automatic spring feeder equipped with an escapement enables the feeder to deliver
one spring on demand directly to an assembly line.
An escapement should always be mounted vertically with the outlet downwards.
When starting up the unit the spring feeder will fill up a queue and when that is done
the escapement will deliver one spring if it receives an external start signal.
As soon as the queue goes below the max queue level the spring feeder
automatically starts and feeds springs until the max queue level is reached again.
